The challenge.
An ageing population had led to increased demand for OutsideClinic’s services, yet they were struggling to recruit enough optometrists to fulfil it. A key reason was a lack of understanding of what domiciliary entails, as 90% of optometrists have only worked on the high street and domiciliary was not taught at university.
The idea
Demystify domiciliary optometry and bring to life what an interesting and rewarding career it is, with the launch of a new ‘Discover Domiciliary’ educational series as part of an integrated campaign that put real-life optometrists at the centre.
