The Health Communications quiz

Dr Who?

Do you know your GP from your Chat GPT and your Dr Hilary from your unqualified celebrity?

New research from Evergreen PR suggests that young people might be less concerned with health message sources than older generations, with many Gen X’ers (under 29s) taking health information from social media influencers, the media and ChatGPT, as well as friends, family and their employer.

Baby Boomers (over 65s) on the other hand consumed less health information over the last 12 months though, when they did access it, they only really took advice from healthcare professionals.

Knowing the source of a health message is a really important part of being able to assess its credibility and, therefore, its safety and likely effectiveness.

Test your skill by seeing if you can identify the source of these recent health messages with our ‘Dr Who? quiz’ below.
