How our integrated campaign generated sales to the NHS from a standing start for a medical software business.
Diabetes referrals at-scale
1
Contract signed with an NHS Integrated Care Board within three months
100+
NHS ICB staff attendees at a webinar to learn how they could implement diabetes referrals at scale, using Meddbase’s technology
The challenge.
Meddbase is a healthcare management software solution that had ambitions to expand its customer base from GP practices, occupational health and private healthcare to include NHS Integrated Care Systems. While it was conducting a pilot showing how it could be used to assist diabetes referrals, at the time it had no customers in the space.
The idea
We developed a narrative around how, while the NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme is clinically effective, its impact relies on patients activating their refferals. We worked with the ICB to uncover data showing that Meddbase supported this, before creating an educational report and webinar for other NHS ICBs to learn how they could implement a similar programme.
The Evergreen impact
16
Media articles (output)
We generated articles across digital health, healthcare and diabetes media.
1,300
Visits to the landing page in one month (outtake)
We made the campaign landing page the most popular page on the website. It was also highly effective - with 10% of visitors signing up for our educational webinar.
5
Inbound enquiries from NHS ICBs (outcome)
Meddbase received multiple enquiries, including one ICB staff member who asked about buying the software on the webinar. Tangible revenue was generated within 3 months from a standing start - meaning more people are now likely to access the NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme.
Lawrie Campbell, Chief Strategy Officer, Meddbase
“This was a really successful piece of work, driving leads that ultimately led to new revenue. Evergreen’s expertise in healthcare was clear to see and meant they knew exactly what was needed to deliver an impactful campaign, identifying the best data and using exactly the right language to speak not only to our prospective customers (i.e health organisations) but also to their customers (i.e. patients). I thought it was excellent.”
Jaillan Yehia, Director of Public Health and Communications, Meddbase
