Why the method works

 

MERTO is the world’s first ‘Conscious Prioritisation’ Framework for Achieving Business and Health Outcomes.

The six-step method enhances effectiveness and efficiency by identifying the priority focus at every stage of the planning process - ensuring that every action is laser focused on the target outcome.

The framework was developed after we identified a significant problem with the way that PR agencies typically tackle the challenge of achieving tangible outcomes.

The root of this problem is that too many PR agencies are activity-focused rather than outcomes-focused; they channel their energy into what we call “SOS…Sending Out Stuff”, rather than directly on the organisation’s priority goals. They are distracted by red herring metrics, causing a loss of focus on the business goal.

The result is lots of hard work but, often, not enough in terms of tangible impact.
