UK’s leading physio group appoints Evergreen PR to launch virtual service

In these uncertain times, we are delighted to have secured a contract to support Ascenti, the UK’s leading physio brand, to launch its pioneering virtual physio service.

Working with big clients is great, but what is even better is working with brands that you genuinely believe in. Ascenti and Evergreen share a common purpose of taking action to improve people’s health and there has never been a more important time for this.

Ascenti has a workforce of 600+ employees, including 300 qualified physiotherapist clinicians, making it the largest employer of physios outside of the NHS. Its virtual service is proven with corporate clients and, with the coronavirus lockdown likely to impact on people’s physical fitness, mobility and rehabilitation, it will be a much-needed service for consumers too.

It’s clear to us that the behaviour of brands during this crisis tells you a lot about them and Ascenti is driven to supporting those that need it most. This week, the company has responded to the current need by launching the offer of free virtual physio for all over 65s and NHS workers during the lockdown, as well as a new service of ‘home office health-checks’ for people who are suddenly working from home and need some ergonomic expertise. You may hear us talk more about these things in the coming weeks.

The announcement of our client win has already been covered by Prolific North, BDaily and PRovoke and we were delighted with the comments of Sophie Harper, Chief Brand and Communications Officer for Ascenti, who said: “Evergreen PR impressed us with their passion for helping people to improve their health and their ideas for how we could approach this activity. It was clear that they have a deep understanding of the health sector and of the strategies that would be most likely to lead to the outcomes we want to see as a business.”

For our part, we recognise Ascenti as a dynamic market-leading company that, like us, cares about helping people to improve their health and wellbeing. We’re excited to be supporting them to make a difference at this important time.
