“Wow” - PR Week judges praise Evergreen following ‘Best Public Health Awareness Campaign of the Year’ award win.

We are delighted to announce that Evergreen has won ‘Best Public Health Awareness Campaign of the Year’ at the industry-leading UK PR Week Awards!

Shortlisted among some of the largest agencies in the country, Evergreen was awarded the national win for it’s ‘Sound of Science: A Tinnitus Biobank’ campaign with Tinnitus UK - a campaign praised by the judges for its “hugely impressive range of work” and for its “simple, clear call to action and desired objective, which was achieved.”

The Sound of Science Campaign was designed using Evergreen’s MERTO Framework to attract commitment and investment for a Tinnitus Biobank - a collection of anonymous health data from people with tinnitus which could be used by researchers to explore treatments or even identify a cure for the condition.

Our campaign drove thousands of people to sign up to the Tinnitus Biobank and led to meetings with the Medical Research Council and a prominent University to discuss partnering on the project. You can learn more about our work on the campaign here.

Commenting on the award, Leigh Greenwood, Managing Director at Evergreen PR, said:

“To win the award for Best Public Health Awareness Campaign in the UK from PR Week is an incredible achievement for our brilliant team. Up against some of the largest agencies in the country and some great causes, I am delighted we were recognised for delivering a first-class campaign for a brilliant organisation.

“It’s the combination of our extensive health expertise, our proven MERTO prioritisation framework and our unwavering focus on delivering outcomes that enables us to consistently drive impact for organisations that improve people’s health - which allows us to have a real impact on improving people’s health, too.”

The judges said:

‘“Wow! A hugely impressive range of work. We loved the simple, clear call to action and desired objective, which was achieved. Very clear, simple programme that connected an isolated community and raised not only awareness but ambition for change. Well done!”
