‘Small Consultancy of the Year’ and ‘Healthcare PR Campaign of the Year’ again at CIPR PRide Awards

As healthcare PR specialists, we’re delighted that Evergreen PR has again been awarded ‘Healthcare and Wellbeing Campaign of the Year’ and ‘Small Consultancy of the Year’ at the CIPR PRide Awards 2023 for our success in delivering tangible business and health outcomes for our clients.

The Healthcare and Wellbeing Campaign of the Year award was given for our work supporting the Royal College of General Practitioners to increase sign-ups to its proven ‘Veteran Friendly’ GP practices accreditation programme - after we drove a 645% increase in uptake from GP practice teams by triggering action from GPs, nurses and practice managers.

We were also delighted to receive the Small Consultancy of the Year award, which is judged on a range of factors, including impact for clients, outstanding achievements, Continued Professional Development and business strategy.

This is the third year running that Evergreen PR has won the Chartered Institute of Public Relations’ award for ‘Small Consultancy of the Year’ and the second year running that we have won the award for the best healthcare campaign.

The judges were full of praise for Evergreen PR, commenting:

A top rate application. We loved the clear purpose, the strategy and CPD goals of this agency, also very clear planning and execution of the campaign.
— CIPR Judges, awarding Evergreen PR 'Small Consultancy of the Year'
A very sensitive campaign delivered with care and compassion for those involved. Relatively low budget but huge impact. Use of a variety of tactics. Overcoming a huge hurdle with the Queen passing which coincided with launch and news coverage was saturated.

Evergreen PR also took home a ‘Silver’ award for the PR Consultancy of the Year and for the Best Not-for-Profit Campaign.

Speaking at event, Evergreen PR’s Managing Director, Leigh Greenwood said: “We want to be the healthcare PR consultancy that health businesses and organisations come to when they want their communications to achieve tangible outcomes.

“So it’s really rewarding to pick up two Gold awards at this year’s CIPR PRide Awards - one for the best healthcare and wellbeing campaign and one for being the most effective small PR consultancy. The fact that we have won these awards multiple times in a row is also really pleasing.

“I’m really proud of our talented and hard working team and really grateful for the opportunity that our clients give to us every day, to do meaningful work that enables us to transform people’s health by helping excellent health organisations to achieve their business objectives.”
